Volunteering at School – Can I? Should I?

The short answers are – yes, and yes!  Volunteer time given to any Catholic elementary school is a true gift.  What if you are new to the school, and you do not know anyone? How do you get started? What if you are so busy, how will you find spare time to volunteer? Does it make a difference?

Travel Advisory

by Advancement

To best protect the school community, St. John Paul II Regional School is asking families to follow the NJ Travel Advisory recommended 14-day quarantine when returning from states on the travel advisory list.  We do not advise vacations during the school year; however, families may travel over the weekend or the upcoming holidays.  If that is the case, you and your family would need to quarantine, and arrangements would need to be made with the school for remote learning in advance.   Arrangements can be made by contacting Mrs. Persing at principal@jp2rs.org.

3 Keys to Remote Learning Success for Students

Saint John Paul II Regional School reopened its doors in September with in-person learning and the option for students to attend school remotely.  Now in its second month, a well-thought out plan for remote learning success for Kindergarten through 8th Grade students (at all academic levels) has proven very effective.  Approximately 55 students are currently at home logging in each day to their classroom for school.  It takes much more for a child to learn remotely than having a device and an internet connection.

Calling All Chromebook/Non Chromebook Champions!
Saint John Paul II Regional School is dedicated to making learning accessible and mobile for all children! Laptop computers bridge this gap – effective for students at all academic levels, keep students engaged, and prepare them for future careers. We are closing the gap, but still need help to give each SJPII student access to a chromebook/non chromebook device this school year!
Your donation of $300 gives one student a device. A donation of $3,000 will give 10 students devices. Please be one of our Champions and donate today here:
Our goal is to purchase 125 devices so that we can be a 1:1 school!! Each child needs a device!
Please help us reach our goal!
